Witleaf obtained breakthrough results in side-stream etCO2 measurement technology

Witleaf Team
After years of research and practice by the Witleaf breathing gas research team, the side-flow EtCO2 measurement module studied by the team adopts new algorithms and a unique integrated measurement gas circuit design. In terms of measurement accuracy and flow control, it has made breakthrough progress and obtained engineering prototypes, especially in flow control, which has broken the 50ml/min micro-flow measurement that the industry is proud of, and successfully achieved accurate measurement and rapid response at 40ml/min flow. This technology can achieve EtCo2 measurement at lower tidal volume, making a higher contribution to neonatal monitoring!
At present, the medical EtCO2 measurement technologies commonly used in domestic hospitals, except for the side-flow end-breath carbon dioxide module independently developed by Mindray, are all imported from abroad, such as Respironics' Loflo module, Oridion's minimediCO2 module and Phasein's ISA module. In the future, Witleaf will strive to achieve true self-sufficiency in domestic EtCO2 monitoring!
As shown in the figure, the respiratory waveform and result state when the pumping rate is 40ml/min.
