CapnoSET® Mainstream EtCO2 measurement is easy to use and low cost of use, and is widely used in various clinical scenarios, including surgical monitoring, ICU, and emergency monitoring and transport monitoring that may be outside the hospital. Such as plug and play in emergency monitoring, transport monitoring scenarios, 0 warm-up time is a very important technical requirement.
Based on a large number of clinical practices and core technology research and verification, Witleaf has released CapnoSET® mainstream rapid response technology, realizing the clinical application requirements of plug and play without warm-up.
WSmartGas® The rapid response technology includes CapnoSET® mainstream EtCO2 measurement technology and TiniStream® sidestream EtCO2 measurement technology , which realizes plug-and-play fast response through sample gas pretreatment and adaptive compensation mechanism, avoiding waiting time due to preheating, effectively reducing clinically reasonable misuse and improving treatment efficiency.

The breathing gas of the human body is saturated with water vapor, when the ambient temperature is low, for the mainstream EtCO2 measurement, it will condense on the surface of the measuring gas chamber to form water droplets, resulting in the scattering of infrared light through the measurement chamber resulting in overestimation of EtCO2 concentration, wSmartGas® through CapnoSET® mainstream airway adaptor technology by adjusting the incidence angle of IR light incidence surface to avoid the scattering of IR light in the penetration measurement air chamber to ensure the accuracy of measurement;
For sidestream EtCO2 measurement that can cause condensed liquid to accumulate, reduce the service life of the sampling line or even damage the measurement equipment, wSmartGas® effectively filters the condensed liquid of the measured gas through TiniStream® measurement technology, improves the measurement accuracy and corresponding time, and prolongs the service life of the sampling line.
CapnoSET® Drift suppression technology
The period from start-up to stable operation of mainstream EtCO2 monitoring equipment is the rapid change of internal working conditions of the equipment, including temperature change, baseline change, radiation power of the IR light source and change of IR detector sensitivity.
CapnoSET® mainstream technology fully considers various environmental factors and electrical factors to compensate, to suppress drift, to ensure that the boot can achieve full precision measurement, clinical tracking display, has important clinical application value.
